By law all sales of alcohol conducted on licensed premises have to be authorised by a Personal Licence Holder. In order to apply to become a Personal Licence Holder the applicant must hold an accredited qualification as this proves they can sell alcohol both legally and responsibly.
Personal Licence Holder qualifications provide candidates with essential knowledge of the legal frameworks surrounding the sale of alcohol in the UK.
Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) - This award covers essential knowledge of the legal framework surrounding the sale of alcohol in England and Wales as well as key information on the responsibilities of Personal Licence Holders, duties of the Designated Premises Supervisor, the role of licensing authorities and police powers regarding licensed premises. This licensing qualification is accredited by Ofqual and approved by the Home Office, and has been designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.
**The Personal Licence Holder course is only available for groups of 5 or more candidates, and will be held at our address in Kings Cross, London, between 1.30pm-5.00pm, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiry.
ALL CANDIDATES WILL BE POSTED A COURSE BOOK AND SAMPLE TEST QUESTIONS TO STUDY AND COMPLETE FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE TEST AT THE END OF THE COURSE
